Lately, I’ve been intrigued by the need and role of content management systems (CMS). I’m convinced that CMS’ have a huge role in the future of academic institutions (any organization, really). Yet almost all development and discussion of CMS comes from corporate or media associations. Picture a college without a library - all books are just kept in a room and you go find what you want.
