Rough day. Apparently new research suggests we don’t have free will and the resulting deterministic messages have the potential to lead to general moral decay. I’d do something about it. But it wouldn’t make a difference.

This (is that they right word to start with? could I use something stronger? How about “I think” no not “I think” I think, too subjective, undercuts my sense of certainty) is (yes, “is” is right, although it brings up all the issues of the copula with it, oh the agony) absolute (Absolute? That seems a bit strong. Ok, go with it, don’t be wishy washy, commit!) nonsense (should I post this? no, no one will get it? but if I don’t, they’ll never get it? oh go on, post it)!
