I'm interested in how information abundance translates into our ability to cope. We generally view information/knowledge as key components in the learning process - depending on one's perspective, learning is the act of translating information to knowledge...or it is the act of making sense of knowledge...or it is the act of navigating knowledge (in a networked fashion). Regardless of exact definition, learning involves a tight relationship with information/knowledge. Which means that developments with knowledge influence our approach to learning. Economics of Attention: "...attention economics starts with the observation that, as products and information proliferate, attention becomes the scarce resource – we each have only 24 hours in the day. Where we choose to allocate this attention will increasingly determine who creates economic value and who destroys economic value."
