Net Pedagogy

I had the pleasure a few weeks ago of presenting to a group of Terry Anderson's students at Athabasca . The discussion centered on the concept of "net pedagogy" - i.e. what's changing with teaching now that we have significantly different tools. A group of students(Mary, Richard, Patrick) in the course have created an excellent resource: Net Pedagogy Portal: "...a resource whose purpose is to increase understanding, knowledge, and awareness of the changing landscape of teaching and learning online." It's a wonderful compilation of trends, tools, glossary, and general resources. If you're grappling with teaching and learning in a digital age, connectivism, connective knowledge, or networked learning, I suggest starting here - this is one of the most valuable sites in this regard that I've encountered. Congratulations to the students - great work!
