Complex Intractable Challenges:

Strong correlations to how I view learning today - Complex Intractable Challenges: "This is the gist of a complex problem: We cannot know all the variables and we therefore cannot predict what will happen with any useful degree of reliability."...therefore, learning (in complex environments) shouldn't not be in advance of need, as the situation itself defines and highlights learning need areas. If anything, what we know often obscures what we need to know (i.e. our preconceived notions blind us to new opportunities).
