Folksonomies are the current hot topic among bloggers. I'm still curious to see if it has the staying power to exceed "fad" status. The challenge of folksonomies (end-user classification and meta-data) will become evident as they are applied on a larger scale. I think they can be a very effective means of personal knowledge organization...but not for large scale content organization.
