Since this event is only a few weeks away, I will reference it (again). We are hosting a conference on social media in education, government, and the enterprise in Edmonton, Alberta on April 25 – 26. Our keynote speaker – Dave Snowden – just posted an overview of the origins of his well-known Cynefin model. Dave has spoken at several online conferences I’ve organized in the past. He’s always an engaging, provocative speaker – and even more so when the presentation turns to Q & A and debate. His work on complex adaptive systems, naturalistic decision making, and narrative in sensemaking is moving more to mainstream acceptance. I’m also looking forward to attending the Cognitive Edge courses running after our conference.
