		<description>Exactly. I&#039;m reminded of this consumption v creation when I discuss something I&#039;m working on w/ my colleague Gary Woodill. Gary reads continually - journal articles, books, academic research. I envy him. He&#039;s very connected but doesn&#039;t spend nearly the time I do blogging, tweeting, etc. Just yesterday I was digging into the journal database I have access to at the university. I actually got a little concerned that I&#039;m not casting a wide enough net. It&#039;s a matter of control and discipline for me...but how not to lose some of that &quot;great sense of connectedness and awareness of trends&quot; you talk about.</description>
