Edublog awards

Edublog awards have been announced for 2006. Looks like a great list – and an expression of what’s happening with educational blogging in general. Our edublogging space has changed since I started blogging. When I arrived, there were a handful of people focusing on educational blogging – Stephen Downes, Maish Nichani, David Tod-Carter, Will Richardson, Jay Cross. Over the last 12 months, things have grow significantly. This years list presents many new blogs – gone are the traditional staples of the edublog list. It’s an exciting time for new voices to be added to the global conversation. And yet, it feels like our small edublogger town (where everyone knows everyone) is becoming a small city – where relationships begin to cluster in smaller networks, instead of one large structure.
